They grow up so darn fast!!

Where do the years go? I can't believe how big the girls are getting. Everyday, they say and do things that just blow my mind. Abby can manipulate the computer like you wouldn't believe.


I bought a bike at the consignment store that was supposed to be for her birthday but the weather has been so nice, that I couldn't wait. I gave her the bike last week...lol Luckily, I paid for the bike with store credit. I am horrible at keeping secrets. It was killing me to know that she has a new bike waiting for her and I had to wait 2 months...lol Anyway, she loves it!!!



Abby also LOVES boys. This is Cooper. He is her prince. I think I am in big trouble when she gets older!!!

On one hand I can't wait to see what Abby grows up to be. What kind of a woman she will turn into. But on the other hand, everyday is slipping away and my baby is growing up way too fast!!

So, I am constantly trying to think of things to blog about that have nothing to do with Abby and I can't!! She is just such a big part of everything...lol Right now, she is throwing a fit in her bed because I would not let he have books in bed tonight. She has had a real attitude lately and even through her books across the room yesterday. I am trying to be a strong mom and follow through with my warnings. She is begging "please mommy, please"...it is so hard to say no to her. But that is why she has had an attitude lately! Be strong Michele...be strong!

I am making a little bit of a change in my career...and I am really nervous! I am switching from 2nd grade to 1st grade next year. It will be a big change. They are such babies and can't do anything independently! But I am also very excited. It should be very rewarding!!

We went to Burger King this last weekend and took some pictures. They love to play on the slides and tubes. It is fun to watch them!





Abby has also taken a liking to my ipod. She loves to hold the headphones to her ears and sing along to my music. I have decided to get her her own childs version of an ipod for her birthday (May 17th). She will be so thrilled!

Crazy cats!!

Have you ever seen a cat beg for food? Zeke is a total begger! This cat will beg for your food and even steal right off your plate. He stole bacon from my plate once!




The cats have also been scratching their claws on the carpet, so we bought them a scratch pad (with cat nip...lol) Jonas LOVES it! He rolled his whole body on it, scratched it, and then laid stoned out of his mind for about 30 minutes...LOL it was hysterical!! These cats make me laugh! :)

Dancing Queen!

Abby's first session of ballet is over and she loved it. It is actually the first time, she enjoyed an activity and asked me to sign her up again. So, I signed her up for another session which starts next week. Anyway, we were able to watch her last class and it was so cute. She did such a great job. I was very proud of her!

Welcome to our family Alexandra Briann!

My brother Brian and his wife Jan gave birth to my first niece, Alexandra Briann last night at 3:05am. She is 7lbs and 19.5 inches. And of course adorable! Mom and baby are both doing great. We are truly blessed!

A day at the park, Getting cozy with the cats, and Dusty's passing :(

Things have been busy around here. The weather up until now (it was 10 degrees today...brrrr) has been beautiful. One day last week, I left work as soon as I could and we took the kids to the park. It was a lot of fun. Abby is getting so big. Watching her play at the park shows how much she really has grown up.





The cats have adjusted nicely. I think the kids drive them nuts though. They seems to wait until the girls go to bed at night to really come out and join us. Jonas has really opened up. He doesn't hiss at the dog and Zeke anymore and he is actually starting to play with Zeke. My allergies have not acted up too bad. I just need to always remember to wash my hands right after I pet them.



They have really become buddies!

A week ago today my dad had to put his best friend Dusty to sleep. Dusty was such a great dog. She was a comfort to my dad and his best buddy. My dad got Dusty when she was just a pup and she didn't leave his side from the first day he got her. She was a part of the family. We all have holes in our hearts now. She will be greatly missed!!

It's official....we have lost our minds!

Ok, so here is how it went. Tiff and I have been talking about getting another pet. Why, you ask? I can't answer that...lol But we have been talking about it. I actually want a little dog but the dog I really want ( a yorkie....so cute!) I can't afford. So, I caved and said I would get a cat. Ok, let's back up a minute. We used to have 2 cats but decided to give them away because I am allergic to them. Yeah, really not funny huh? So, anyway, we see a cute cat at the Denver Dumb Friends League named Cinna-bubba (yeah, don't ask!) We decide to go down and meet him. We end up seeing 3 cats all together (just in case Cinna-bubba isn't very nice). Well I end up falling in love with the white cat and Tiff wanted the orange cat. We argued and argued until we decided to flip a coin. At that moment the guy tells us that cats are 2 for the price of one!! Well, I really wanted this cat so we say ok and there you have it. We boxed up two cats and headed home. The whole way home I am on the verge of having an anxiety attack because I am thinking...what the hell have we just done!! Well, we did it. there was no turning back. We just had to make it work. I am glad we did. They are the sweetest cats. I am still allergic to them but I just make sure I wash my hands and take allergy pills. We re-named them of course...lol Tiff named her cat (the orange one) Zeke, short for Ezekeil. And Abby and I named our cat Jonas (that's right...we named him after the Jonas Brothers..lol Abby calls them her boys!) Zeke is very sweet and spends a lot of time with us. Jonas is a little afraid of the dog so he is taking a little longer to feel comfortable.

This is Bailey and Zeke getting to know each other. They just laid there and stared at each other for about 10 minutes. It was really funny!
